ISRIMT 2021 |
The 3rd International Symposium on Robotics & Intelligent Manufacturing Technology (ISRIMT 2021) was successfully held online on September 25-26, 2021. More than 300 experts and scholars from many countries, including China, Canada and the UK, participated in this online conference. Prof. Xu Weiya, Vice President of Hohai University, and Prof. Yang Guilin, Chairman of the conference and Vice President of Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches, which was hosted by Prof. Wang Yanjie, Vice Dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Hohai University.
The conference was hosted by Hohai University, organized by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Hohai University, and technically supported by IEEE. Robotics and intelligent manufacturing technology are two hot topics in the academic world, and are important directions for the development of "Made in China 2025". Since entering the 21st century, robotics and intelligent manufacturing technology have achieved fruitful academic and application results. This conference has built an academic platform for experts, scholars and industrial colleagues in the field of robotics and intelligent manufacturing to exchange and discuss, which is of great significance to promote the development of robotics and intelligent manufacturing industry in China. Experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities and research institutions, business people and other related personnel are invited to attend the conference.

The conference focuses on the frontier dynamics and hot issues in the fields of biomimetic robotics, space robotics, precision mechanical design, group intelligence optimization and intelligent control, artificial intelligence and robotics, etc. It aims to build a good international academic exchange and cooperation platform for experts and scholars in the field of robotics and intelligent manufacturing, and promote the deep integration of robotics and intelligent manufacturing.
On September 25, Prof. Tao Mei from Pengcheng Lab, Prof. Wenfang Xie from Concordia University, Prof. Minzhou Luo from Hohai University, Prof. Jun Fu from Northeastern University, Prof. Dunbing Tang from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Prof. Fei Tao from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Prof. Yu Liu from Jiangnan University, Dr. Ze Ji from Cardiff University, Dr. Chunxu from Plymouth University, and Prof. Angelo Cangelosi from Manchester University. Li, Prof. Angelo Cangelosi, University of Manchester, UK, gave excellent academic reports on international frontier hotspots such as underwater intelligent robots, collaborative robots and digital twin research, and proposed the future development direction of intelligent robotics research.

In the morning of September 26th, Prof. Song Aiguo from Southeast University, Prof. Dai Zhendong from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Prof. Guo Yinan from China University of Mining and Technology, Prof. Zhang Xuebo from Nankai University, Prof. Bao Jinsong from Donghua University and Prof. Dong Shaojiang from Chongqing Jiaotong University gave colorful presentations on teleoperated robots, biomimetics of gecko movement, mobile robots and dynamic modeling intelligence of rolling bearings.
